A wonderful place to stay! Very warm and cosy! Fantastic kitchen and movies. In a beautiful location with easy access to great short walks around the glen. We would love to come back. Hosts were lovely and came to check we were warm enough and even left us some (Scottish) soap, honey and haggis chips! (stayed 08 to 10 Jan 2017)

J Ley from Edinburgh
I had a fantastic stay! Lodge is perfectly situated, with an abundance of great walks on the doorstep. Also provides some much-needed peace and quiet. I will definitely be back! (Also, Now TV/movies is a nice bonus). (stayed 02 to 09 Jan 2017)

We are just back from a great few day away. We were in the Calltainn, and it was just perfect!! We were made most welcomed by Stephen and Liz. It was so peaceful, and just what we needed. Between us, we have 9 grandchildren so you can imagine how we felt to have that tranquil few days away. We went on a few walks, the views are fantastic, and the photographs we took are going to be great memories. We want to go back again and as soon as we can. Miss the place already :o(.
Thanks again to Stephen & Liz for the warm welcome and keeping in touch with us. (stayed 14 to 17 Dec 2016)

Fabulous break
Ogden-Quin Family from Calltainn
We had a fabulous few days at the end of November. Well below freezing outside - the frost so heavy that it looked like snow, but the lodge was warm & cosy. Lots of nice wee touches which make it special e.g. a Scottish gift selection and board games & jigsaws to keep everyone happy if the weather turns rotten. The lodge is well equipped for self catering, clean and comfy. We will return.
Thanks for a lovely break.

M Downing from Oldham

Lodge very clean and comfy, great location with superb walks and Stephen and Liz made our little Dog Molly welcome. Would visit again.

Response: Thank you for your kind review. It was lovely to meet you. Since your stay the lodge is pet-free, but if you contact us we will happily assist you in finding another lodge suitable for Molly to stay. All the best. Liz

Just back from a 4 night stay in Bramble. We didn't want to leave this morning! We had everything we could possibly need, including great weather (in November?). Bramble was immaculately clean and very cosy. Great river view too! Thank you! We will be back !
